An Update
Thank you to everyone who sent me well wishes and prayers. I am happy to announce that the insurance company has approved my stent placement. WooHoo. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before I can have it done.
I am looking forward to having more energy soon. I know that I haven’t posted any stories in a while. I will leave you with one of the first poems I published on Medium. It needs some love.
In a few weeks, we will say farewell to summer. This poem is a summer sonnet. Although I am not a fan of the humidity, I enjoy the longer days, the bright sunlight and the refreshing rain I experience where I live. There is a special place for summer in my heart. It will always remind me of home.
