As someone who has travelled with my younger brother as unaccompanied minors, I can relate to this. However, I believe that although we had never flown before, we were prepared to fly by our family. I feel really bad that you couldn't help them even though you wanted to. However, I am grateful that she allowed you to embrace her. She was doing all she could to calm her brother down.
