Deserving of Love

A summer Sonnet

Summer what must I do to deserve thee?
To endure thy torturous humid air
Fall dims the light that draws your core to me
Spring teases the wind, leaves me in despair
Strong winds will compel the heart to release
And stabs at it using a million spears
Buckle clouds flare into vivid cerise
Remindful of forbidden love affairs
Summer’s love will remain not bitter sweet
With clouds that adorn and frame the blue sky
Bees come in for a pollinated treat
And the night falls, glowing stars draw nigh
The sun rises, composes a new tune
Hearts dance to a love that remains immune
