I Am Preparing For A Major Hospital Visit

I have read the above quote by Albert Einstein several times because the past few months have been nothing short of challenging. I usually write about art and poetry. Today, I would like to write about myself if that’s ok.

I wrote a piece several weeks ago where I mentioned that I was diagnosed with a blood clot. I’m still undergoing treatment because it’s the same. Let’s keep in mind that I have other health issues. My body feels like it is constantly under attack. I have a medical appointment just about every day of the week. It has been overwhelming. Despite the difficulties, I seek out opportunities to put a smile on my face. Anything helps.

The month of may is important to me because it is Vasculitis Awareness Month. I was diagnosed with a form of vasculitis a few years ago.
