There is so much to unpack in this piece, Thief.
Here you have dropped hints about Prometheus' story. How he helped mankind by introducing fire, but his punishment also involved an eagle. In this piece, I think you make mention of a crow.
You speak of Betelgeuse- the right shoulder of Orion (the hunter, known for its belt). Scientist thinking that it would explode a few years ago because it's light deemed only to note that we have no idea when that's going to happen. No one can predict the next supernova. A hundred decades? A thousand decades? Who knows.
There is a line that reminds me of Orion always passing behind the sun in Spring.
My hope is that we continue to learn and grow as humans and don't end up destroying ourselves. I also like your galaxy like art piece. I may have written too much. My apologies, my dear, Thief. Your poetry is incredible as always. It's the chaos we didn't know we needed.
